SHEAR EGO

Shear Ego began in 1976 with a single salon and expanded into three more salons over their first decade. In 1986, they opened the Shear Ego International School of Hair Design because they were dissatisfied with the recent beauty school graduates who had been interested in working with Shear Ego. Shear Ego continues to stay up-to-date on the most modern hair practices from around the world and maintains its commitment to the quality of the
client experience.

  • CHALLENGE

    Shear Ego asked Atomic Design to assist them with a new e-commerce capable product store. In order to maximize the effect of the online store, Atomic was asked to redesign the existing website for Shear Ego International School, Salon and Spa. The goal was to give the website a new look which would encourage customers to visit and experience the Shear Ego experience for themselves.

  • SOLUTION

    Atomic Design created a fresh invigorating look for the Shear Ego website. Bright, vibrant colors were used in conjunction with crisp photography to convey the Shear Ego experience and highlight the services offered by the Salon and Spa. The online store was designed with navigation in mind to make
    purchasing simple.

  • RESULT

    Shear Ego now has a powerful online sales tool to make it more convenient for their customers to purchase quality products and gift certificates. The results of this effort will be revealed after the upcoming gift-giving season.
